A World Heritage Treasure

Kakadu National Park is 550 kilometre from Darwin. The roads are fully sealed and offer lots to see enroute it is a great drive. There are also several companies that offer various travel and tour options to and around the park.

Kakadu is a pristine heritage listed Park and home to natural caves and galleries containing ancient rock art, some of which goes back 20,000 years.

With a 4WD you can visit magnificent places such as Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls and other splendid off the beaten track locations, you do need however check whether or not tracks are open to these areas as seasonal conditions dictate their condition.

Without a four wheel drive vehicle there are just as many wonderful sites and locations to visit, climb, walk and see in Kakadu National Park.
