Whilst there are only a few places where you can swim outdoors around Darwin because of the crocodile and jelly fish risk, at the Waterfront there is a small beach area where the water is fenced off and you can go for a swim or just cool off from the tropical Darwin heat.

The Waterfront is surrounded by Cafes, restaurants and pubs for all of your breakfast, lunch and dinner needs. Nearby there is the wave pool where you can also swim for a charge.

The wave pool is also close by and it is only a short walk to the Central Business District if you are looking for shops as well as more cafes and restaurants.
