Parliament House Tour and the Supreme Court

Visit Parliament

Whilst it is the seat of power in the Northern Territory it is still possible for visitors to take a self-guided or free guided tour around the building. In the heart of the Central Business district you will find both Parliament House and the Supreme Court of Australia sitting in Darwin.

Take the self-guided tour with the help of the free Parliament House Booklet available in the foyer of the building or the free guided tour which lasts 90 minutes at 9am and 11am every Saturday between February and November each year.

After your tour visit the Speaker’s Corner Café and mingle with visitors, employees and maybe some Parliamentarians.

Once or twice a year Parliament House as well as the Supreme Court of Australia, next door, are opened to the public with a number of events and tours around both buildings which give you a real insight into the workings of both as they run behind the scenes tours with people working in both venues.
